Guidelines & Eligibility 

• Applicant must be a graduate of Westbury High School with a minimum of an 85 average or better; 

• Enhanced consideration will be given to students who have experienced significant financial or life challenges and/or where their academic record indicates strong abilities but whom, because of their challenges may not have been able to fully show their skills or potential;

• Applicant must have demonstrated need for financial aid as evidenced by the Student Aid Record (SAR) from the FAFSA and student/parental tax records; 

• Applicant must be available for an interview with the scholarship selection committee; 

• Applicant must have great potential as proven by community service experience, leadership ability and effective written and verbal communication skills; 

• Applicants will be notified of their status in July 2020. Checks will be distributed directly to the students respective college or university upon receipt of proof of the students enrollment.
